I tried to do the … WebProportional editing only works with G, R and S. You're doing it right. It works fine for me. I've also experience some wonky things in 2.8 like turntable orbiting as trackball and trackball orbiting as turntable. I had to set them backwards to get it to work right. Try closing Blender and reopening it (save first) then try it again.
