WebMay 14, 2014 · I looked at the removal and install guide for the 3.5 but when I looked at my engine I realized its going to be a lot more complicated on the 3.6. Normally there is just a tube going into the throttle body but on the 3.6 its a huge plastic blob with a rubber ring partially blocking the bolts on the throttle body.

We got it over to the dealership and sure enough, the head #2 cylinder was bad with lower compression than the other 3 cylinders. So we used the 10 year 100,000 mile warranty (time not mileage) and got a new head. Also they replaced one lifter and a rocker arm when they were in it.
