So I was interested in buying the first two books of the Kharkanas trilogy, however I read that Erikson put a pause on writing the third book and began a sequel trilogy instead, due to poor sales. I have seen authors abandon projects before due to discouraging reception. WebKharkanas Trilogy is a prequel trilogy in the distant past but you'll want to read it after everything else (after the main series at the very least.)
